En développement depuis de nombreux mois, Bound By Flame se dévoile un peu plus aujourd’hui à travers deux images inédites, avant de l’être davantage à l’E3 où il sera présenté pour la première fois à la presse internationale. Ayant sorti récemment sur PC au format digital Mars War Logs (prévu à la rentrée sur le Xbox LIVE® Arcade et PlayStation®Network), le studio Spiders, avec Bound By Flame, dispose d’un budget plus important et d’un planning de développement qui lui permet d’avoir de belles ambitions sur ce grand jeu de rôle action qui sortira en magasin sur PS3, Xbox 360 et PC.

Bound by Flame vous propose d’incarner, dans un ambitieux univers Dark Fantasy, un mercenaire possédé par un démon de flammes. Victime de l’étreinte du démon, les joueurs devront choisir, tout au long du jeu, entre la puissance du mal ou au contraire tenter de repousser cette influence démoniaque en lui préférant le développement de compétences héroïques. Les dangers, les ennemis toujours plus redoutables et terrifiants seront autant de tentations d’acquérir plus de puissance en cédant un peu de son âme à l’hôte maléfique… chacune des avancées du démon se traduisant par une transformation physique du héros.

Découpé en plusieurs chapitres, Bound by Flame proposera de nombreuses quêtes autour d’une aventure principale épique. Selon les choix du joueur et l’emprise du démon, certains chapitres proposeront des expériences et scénarios différents, offrant ainsi au jeu une importante rejouabilité. Les combats en temps réel sont dynamiques et impressionnants. Si le joueur débutera la partie en maitrisant les bases du combat, de la magie du feu et de l’assassinat, il pourra par la suite se spécialiser en débloquant et en améliorant les nombreuses compétences à développer dans chacun des trois arbres de talents.

Bound by Flame offre la possibilité de customiser son personnage. Les joueurs pourront ainsi, à la création de leur héros, en choisir le sexe et les traits de son visage. Cela aura bien sûr une influence sur la morphologie du démon ! Bound by Flame intègre également un système de craft qui permettra de créer et d’améliorer son équipement. Au cours de sa quête, différents compagnons viendront rejoindre le joueur, qui aura alors la possibilité de nouer avec eux amitiés, romances ou rivalités.

Enfin, le bestiaire de Bound by flame est riche et spectaculaire, vous serez amené à combattre de nombreuses autres créatures impressionnantes : Dragons d’ombre, liches, morts-vivants, créatures de glace, géants… les affrontements épiques ne manqueront certainement pas. Quelle voie choisiront alors les joueurs ? Se laisseront-ils tenter par la puissance et la magie du démon pour venir à bout de ces monstres, ou bien préfèreront ils s’en remettre à leur science du combat et à leur bravoure ?

Bound by Flame sortira sur PC, PlayStation®3 et Xbox 360® à la fin de l’année 2013.
